Well, it's different actually... because he is not saying just that it is expensive: also that they get unwanted rebills. You are never rebilled for a DVD.

Also, it IS true that lower price points for CDs and DVDs work to heighten sales because there ARE people who want to buy but can't afford and then resort to stealing, not everyone has the mindset of the right to have everything for free... also, I am talking from my own experience: down here cd's and dvd's are much more expensive comparatively speaking than they have always been in the US and as a poor film student I waited for the used DVDs from Blockbuster or the sales because I wanted to see the films but simply couldn't afford the special edition DVD when it was just released and it was around the same cost than watching at the theater. And I knew dozens of people in the same situation... and not all were wanting to make films
