I'm completely against any kind of Animal cruelty of any sort, but, the Cat didn't die and is not permanently hurt so shouldn't the punishment fit the crime?
You people really want to ruin a kid's life over one stupid choice? Yes it was stupid, no there's no excuse, but still. Some of you idiots are wishing the kid is seriously hurt over this? That's digusting. What if one of your kids did something I found to be horrid? You'd be fine with me beating the shit out of your child?
Rrred, I think you'd know better than anyone that even the most concerned and invested partent can't know everything that's going on in the mind of their children.
