I have a couple thousand in dues to be paid. About 3/4 of it is people I dont think will pay me and the other 1/4 is people i truly feel hit hard times and have actually tried to pay it off.
You like to help people out and ensure confidence by accepting post pay, but ten to one the people wanting that 'confidence' factor are the ones thatplan on taking the goods and running...

You have that right Deej.. Looks like I will not be getting the final payment on this design.
I find the people that have a problem making a deposit, are the ones that stiff you in the end. I will not do any work for anyone without 1/2 down for the project, no matter what company you are and how much money you have. Clients like this are the reason for the union of designers to share bad experiences. I guess I can take te design and re-sell it.. it was a pretty nice dating site... I did 2 coomplete vertions as well.. I did one just like he specified and he loved it.. Came back 2 weeks later and wanted the entire thing to have different colors and a logo.. Guess I should have done a search for the client the start of the project.. Looks like this is not the first time he has done this to a designer in the past..
