Cool clip - thanx for postin'.
Back then I had a Panasonic Prosumer VHS camera that I bought around 1990 and it was the kind you rest on your shoulder and look through a little B&W viewfinder. It was hard shooting out the side I was sitting on and a lot better shooting out the other side as I was protected by the wind. It would have been nice to have something to muffle the sound of the wind so the engines could be heard. Looking at it now I cringe at the quality and sure wish I could do it again with the equipment I have today.

I also took still pictures and doing double duty was a handful. The back of the helicopter is nothing more than a bench seat with no doors and I had one camera in my lap while using the other and my camera bag between my feet and the whole time I felt like one bank turn by the pilot and I would slide out the side
