I would not use liquid smoke, cumin, chili powder, tomatoes, nor canned beans. Very hard to get the creamy texture with canned beans.
Also would go with a hot sausage or andouille as the sausage. Also would make some pickled onions to go with it, and if your really in the mood some additional fried sausage patty or chorizo or hot sausage patty to serve with it.
