total QBASIC style.
I wrote my first and only piece of malware in QBASIC when i was 13. It ran a dummy program, then in the background added a "deltree c:\*.* -y" to autoexec.bat, and another line which i cannot recall, to make the text color in DOS black on black. LOL
The other thing i wrote took advantage of our first schoolwide ethernet network. Back then, the school used all 3com switches, and had no subenetting - totally flat network. In addition, there were no access permissions either. So I just wrote an app to write x iterations of x filename with x content in the file x number of times to every system on x subnet. I lol'd - the administrators didn't. All in gangsta QBASIC.
I'm not even going to get into Novell...haha. Man, those were the days.
