Do you know how many crimes are committed with LEGAL firearms versus ILLEGAL firearms? Lets put a spectrum number to all crimes committed with firearms and say the number is 100. So out of that 100, 1 or 2 would be attributed to persons using a legally obtained firearm to commit a crime.
It is an absolutely ridiculous idea, and down right lacking in ANY intelligence, to believe that taking guns out of the hands of "LAW ABIDING" citizens will reduce crime. Criminals do not care about laws and will obtain their firearms the way the always have, by stealing them or buying them out of the trunk of an illegal gun runner/dealer.

Maybe if you rednecks grew up in places where you could close your eyes, throw a rock and hit a crack house, or seen armed gang members roam the streets fucking with everyone they seen, or if you've had a gun pulled on you a number of times (like I have), you guys would give a fuck about whether or not they had access to assault weapons.
