We work very hard at giving our customers the best possible hosting and support that there is. We have hardware that can fail (yes - even redundancy can fail. You can read at least once a month about a data center that lost power because the redundant generators didn't come up or some software designed to run the redundant hardware failed).

Every host at one time or another is going to have downtime. In fact, the ONLY way to guarantee full 100% uptime is by having duplicated hardware at either two geographically different data centers or duplicated hardware in a tier 4 data center, (of course, very few customers are willing to pay for either one of those solutions) and even then there are no guarantees that there won't be a DDOS attack or a network issue to take you down. Those hosts that did not have any downtime this year either may have had some last year or will have some next year. You rarely see hosts bashing other hosts about downtime because they know darned well it could have been them. It's just a matter of time. The difference is that the GOOD hosts don't hide from it, provide full disclosure and do whatever it takes to make sure that whatever caused it cannot happen again.

Of course, we seem to have our fair share of haters and I find it interesting that it always seems to be the same people and that these same people do not seem to be in threads about other "certain" hosts going down. I wonder why that is?
