When a Promo Starts from a program you want to promote

Now I know some of you guys know this, but for those that dont, I hope this will help you make some sales.

On a regular basis you see a program such as the ones in my SIG run a promo with higher payouts for x days or weeks or just a few days per week for a few weeks. Like this one http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?p=15581608

And you will almost always say someone often me, or an affiliate manager say " Get your Links Up"

Now if you are somewhat new to the game you may or may not actually understand what they mean by that. It simply means to find the site/s that you want to promote for that program and put the links into a prominent place on your current site so that they get as many clicks as they can. Usually this means above the fold ( so the surfer does not have to scroll ) Often the placement is in a location like the banner at the top of the page like you see above.

It is usually best to put those links up about 24 hours before the promo starts. It helps to have the traffic flowing, and you may very well also get the same guy to click into it more than 1 time. And the more they see the ad, the more likely they are to buy.

So when you build a blog, or a tgp site or even a page for SEO reasons, try and keep a spot at the top that can be quickly and easily changed for promos like the one above.

I hope that I made some sense here, and I hope that I helped at least 1 person out.

If anyone has any questions, or needs help with anything, please let me know. My affiliates come first and then others. But I will help anyone I can.
