After living with my girl for almost 10 years, I wanted to do things in case anything happens to me she is taken care of. We are buying house together, so if something happens to me, its her etc... if all you see of marriage is "losing rights" then you really dont understand the concept of marriage.

When you build a business and life together with someone from the ground up, just "living together" no longer cuts it after you have homes, businesses, and finances tied together for over a decade.

You cant just live your whole life alone and never build a loving home, and possibly have kids with the attitude above. I didnt want to marry at one time too, but those things change as you age and realize the importance of having a companion with you through the hard times when your boys will foget you exist.

guys can act as macho as they want, but I know when ive needed more than a "homie" my girl was there for me when friends forget you are alive.

I also know my relationship is unlike many guys, my wife is a webmaster runs her own porn sites and makes her own money - if you want a slave find one, but a good woman is hard to find.
