The web 2.0. phenomenon - more idiots than ever getting exposed
I thought about this many times, and after being intensely present on the internet for the past 4 years, I'm absolutely sure that the whole concept of "anyone" being able to express his, well whatever he expresses, is a complete fail that only supports the fellow idiocy among idiots that now can create their own virtual fellowships and massively waste the internet space.
Even If there would be the smartest person in the world speaking about something they're expert in you'll always find 20 virtual idiots with more or less serious issues who will argue with them about one plus one and call them names - the Gauss curve doesn't lie.
Everyone now can be popular and have his virtual "supporters" and virtual "challenges" and virtual "existence" and virtual feel of "importance".
Fat chicks that would in the regular jungle have to suffer from serious issues now have their my space bullshit and 500 fellow fat friends who are jerking off to their pictures and keeping them "popular" with wishes and I don't know what.
Everyone can be cool these days - it just takes a little bit creativity to turn your looser little ego into something that looks good from the outside, something you always wanted to be - a virtual übermensch that is super cool and has 1000's of virtual friends.
Well, actually, by spewing bullshit on internet for 2 hours a day for 5 years it's the same effect as if you spent 5 months in prison, you'll never get that time back.
And if you are an idiot, and someone relates to you, it's most likely also an idiot.
I hope those idiots realize this.
