Obama is methodically following every promise he made while campaigning. He was elected based upon the direction he and his supporters (the majority of Americans) wanted to take our country. Those of us who voted him in are getting what we voted for. The real surprise is that a politician, who made campaign promises while campaigning, is actually making good on his word.
The Republicans are hoping and praying that he fails, because if Obama is successful, their party will be crippled for many many years to come. Speaking for myself, I am hoping America can come back, the economy can get better, healthcare can become more affordable, our reliance on oil can be reduced, and the GOP is reduced to hobbling about on crutches.
