I use it to keep my followers updated about the new content that is added on some of my sites. Def shouldn't link out on the paysite tour, but maybe in an image somewhere just show the "Follow me on twitter :
www.twitter.com/yourpage " and don't make it linkable, just show that it exists and the surfers who are in to twitter will / may open up another browser on their own and visit the URL and begin following her.
