No. The IRS is not constantly auditing everyone and every company.
However,.. myself personally. I guess I have earned too many things in life, or appreciate the fact I do not have to look over my shoulder, worry about being audited and it popping up all kinds of shady shit, having the specter of tax fraud hanging out there so I can sleep at night. Yes. When you sign a federal document, that compounds your bullshit btw. Same for mortgage paperwork.
Call me a tax paying punk ass bitch but I do not want some bullshit creeping up in life when I am not expecting it. Electronic banking transactions leave a paper trail the government, especially since the new banking laws of 9-11, can easily trace and track if you get in their cross hairs.
While I have no intention of being IN uncle sam's cross hairs. I still prefer to not have to worry about it either. Peace of mind and being able to sleep at night is worth a few extra grand in tax payments.
