Yes, in a country our size it's much more important to be talking about Rev Wright, or about 1 tenth of 1 percent of a budget bill, or Sarah Palin's clothes, or John McCain's houses. :rollseyes
These types of stories are typically the lead stories on cable AND network news shows. Then afterwards, on cable, we have a dozen hours of mouthpieces from both sides calling each other names and playing gotcha over these "important" stories.
Almost all television news has become "Hard Copy" or "Inside Edition" or "Current Affair" in order to try and keep ratings up in the internet age. It's a pretty sad state of affairs IMO.
