We moved our VOD platform to work on Wowza. Its better then the free servers out their but at the same time cost less money then the FMS. With version 1.7 their performance has improved a lot.
We use Wowza for FlV, MPEG2, MP4 and Windows Media Server for WMV. Both works on the same box and shares the same data base so we end up supporting same functions on both systems.
