it is exactly what it is... politics. the game of telling people what they want to hear and influencing public opinion to push your own agenda through which you were elected to do. the interesting part of all this and the idea that he is somehow going ot save the world is that there is now another performance metric that is the single greatest measure of the financial markets confidence in his ability to end / turn around the financial crisis.
