You are offended because your wife wanted to spend some quality time with her 14-year-old sister, that she never sees?
Frankly you should be happy to get her out of your hair for a night and not have to put up with two shrieking 14-year-olds. Have you ever been around a 14 year old? Why you would want to be within a mile of them is beyond me.
