I don't get all the outrage over this and you being pissed off at the governor....as if it's somehow his fault the real estate market collapsed and California now has like a $42B deficit.
Every extra dollar you get them to put into your kid's school is a dollar they're going to have to take from somewhere else....so you're really not winning anything, you're just shuffling shit around.
You're gonna have one less police officer or one less ER doctor for every asst principal you save.
