Hats off to American farmers and ranchers. They don't get as much acclaim and respect as they deserve. These people, a very very small fragment of the US population, has managed to feed millions of Americans and people all over the world very efficiently and very cheaply. American agriculture has a lot to teach the rest of the world. Amazing efficiency of scale and production which leads to cheap prices thereby making this thread's topic possible.
