Scott Coffman is a very cool dude... he was always very cool with me... but some of the people he places trust in are doing jobs that they really have no real clue about how to do. Just because you are good at negotiating with studios doesn't mean you know jack shit about managing traffic sites (or revenue sites for that matter) or development. I am probably being over-emotional about it... but I moved my family 1000 miles to work at AEBN and was very excited about the prospect of being involved with a company that had such a stellar reputation... only to discover that I would be treated like a minimum wage employee... this is not a slight on what they paid me... but a statement about hiring expertise that they didn't utilize at all and actually ignored.

Certainly, I wish AEBN the best... but I think that they should evaluate the projects that have been started under the management of JS and realize that none of them have really made a return on investment because the person making the decisions doesn't have a clue about the subject he is making decisions for. Under his management they lost some great talent that could have actually turned this projects into success if provided the support to do so. Some of that talent was there from the beginning and helped AEBN to become what it is today but were cast off under this persons management.

I won't minimize the fact that there are alot of players in that particular game and that office politics played a role... but that doesn't make me any less bitter about the turn of events. For the record... I quit the job. They never asked me to leave and subsequently offered me another position... but I would have still been in the same situation... so I wasn't interested in it without the proper incentive to do so... something they decided they couldn't afford.

Also... what I am saying here has nothing to do with the VOD side of AEBN... those guys are the utmost professionals and I have extreme respect for Mitch and his entire team.
