Ask yourself this. Out of the 10 dogs on that list, if you had to face one that was attacking you, which one would you be the least afraid of and which one the most afraid of.
For me I could care less about 1. a Dachshund. I'd pick that thing up and tie it into a knot before it got a second bite.
My biggest concern would 6. a Pit Bull because of it's biting power and tenacity.

If I was being going to be attacked I would be concerned about the Pit Bull, along with the Akita, Australian Cattle Dog and German Shepherd.
The least scary for an attack would be the Dachshund. I have heard that Chihuahua's do like to try and bite a lot. Not scary to me, but that would be scary to a child.
