Shadows in the wrong place is BAD! but I also hate Over touched photos because they look fake!

I agree proper use of shadow can be good. The problem I was trying to point out, before Simon jumped to defense mode, was there is no consistent style to his work. One picture is lit one way and the next another way. One is over lit, the next under lit. Maybe he's doing that to make it look like different photographers, maybe he's doing it because he does not set his lights properly and it's his and miss.
I know when we shoot "Readers Wives" we shoot differently than we would for a "Teen" set.
I was just trying to give him some direction.
Getting girls to shoot still of themselves should be interesting though.
