We are not talking about stopping the investigation of a crime, we are talking about taking away the fundamental right to be considered innocent until proven guilty.
Under the old laws, the copyright holder would have to prove that you were actually the infringer before they had a right to violate your privacy
under the new law, they get your info first.

all i am saying is that the RIAA should fix their identifying process so that can tell the differnence between an actual infringer and a print server that got hacked was only a relay BEFORE they have a right to bust down your door, take you to court and force you to spend 100K defending yourself.
INSTEAD of just changing the law, so they can use their screwed up data to harrass more innocent people.
