Ummmm, I think you missed the point I was trying to make. My opinion of Associated Press is irrelevant.

What I'm saying is that if we apply the principles of DMCA to this scenario, anyone can take AP's content and put it on their website. AP DMCA's them and they then must remove it.

To me, it appears that when a company like AP starts going after people infringing on their copyrighted material, it is THEN, that the laws will finally start skewing in the favor of the copyright holder rather than the way they are now.
