There are certainly some interesting viewpoints being proposed here.
In my opinion, Steffie is correct, young webmasters tend to be shallow. But the reason they are shallow, is not because they are webmasters, but because they are young.
In your 20s, you feel like there's a big stopwatch over you, and you only have a certain amount of time before you get tied down to a family and a desk job. So, the idea is to pack as much fun and pleasure into what little time you have.
This means, driving the flashiest cars, dating the most beautiful women, and a lot of other material posession. I think that there is an insecurity factor that causes this, but who doesn't love to project an image of power and success?
On a side note, if there's one thing I hate, it's unattractive women who insult beautiful women. YES, she's hotter than you are, NO, this will never change, GET OVER IT.
