I actually pay her rent (she has no money to give me, not even when I was I was under 18 let alone now) and I don't live with her yet she nags me still and most of it is done through e-mail. She treats me like I'm a child. She nags me from everything about "taking my vitamins" to "eating enough fruits and vegetables" and "dress warm when it's cold" etc, basically talking to me like I'm a 3 year old to nagging me to get my citizenship, nagging for me to change my name when I get my citizenship (she wants me to add her last name to mine
). Nagging that I should get this and that latest computer and bring her along so she can help pick it out for me. I am not kidding. And then more nagging about "Don't leave the country, its dangerous, they won't let you back in since 9/11" etc
She also used to nag me to come home and live with her because she was so lonely and had no one (she's single, been that way for 20+ years with no friends and no job, her life revolves around thinking/obsessing about me), etc. And then prying, trying to gauge how much money I'm making and saying things like she wants to help me with my business etc
(she has no idea its adult, btw) since we are not close.
I think it's because she is lonely and has no friends/hobbies etc so her life is revolved around thinking about me and I'm an only child so there are no other siblings to take the pressure off of me. I get the brunt of it.
