I am very paranoid about getting cancer, and after extensive research on the net, I found out that you can do the following things to decrease your risk of cancer

- Avoid eating red meat, or cut down on your red meat intake

- Cut down on your meat intake. I think eating too much meat could increase your risk of colon cancer, all that meat just rots in your sytem. Or if you eat meat, use it as a side dish, don't make it the main course, cut down on your portions. Try to eat LOTS of
vegetables and salads . (I only eat red meat once a month or every other month now)

-Limit your intake of fat

-Exercise regularly

-Don't smoke or drink alcohol, that's a no brainer

-Don't use a microwave to heat your food, it could cause radiaton and it changes some chemicals and molecules in your food and makes them toxic.

-Don't eat barbecue or charred/burned meat. Meat fried at high temperature causes some kind of carcinogenic reaction.

-Don't dye your hair, hair dye is toxic and could increase your risk, even my Health teacher back in school told me that

- Try not to eat a lot of processed food with lots of chemicals, try to eat organic or natural

This is only what I think, I'm not a medical expert, but from what I've read, diet and lifestyle has a BIG part to do with it. Ofcourse some people are hereditarily predisposed to getting cancer, but I think all of the factors above could possibly decrease the risk.
