Why else would you put that kind of cash in a bag instead of depositing it in the bank?

Why else would you argue with the officers and not answer a single question, no matter how innocuous?

1) It's called a phone and most new ones have a voice recorder in them.

2) "That kind of cash" was only a few grand and that's not a lot of money. Even if it was a lot of cash, it was a domestic flight and there are no laws saying he couldn't carry large sums domestically. Internal flights you are suppose to inform them if you are traveling with 10k USD or more.

3) It's called "rights" and he was exercising them. I would have done the same. A few thousand dollars is not out of the norm for many people to travel with and it's none of TSA's business what I'm doing with it.
