I can't say I have seen the stats.. But I remember the big promos when they were breaking the marks.. And I remember karasxxx had like 350,000+ uniques a day (just the one site) at one time, via a external counter.
I think it's true.. anyone that has been around long enough has no reason to not think it's true.
