Wow, such a loss. I was t-boned by a drunk driver who fled the scene. My car saved my life, and I had some 2nd degree burns from my airbag. Her car broke in half about 100 yards down the fwy. At her court hearing she showed up in high heels and crutches and had no remorse whatsoever. The judge had no sympathy but she still got off easy imo.
I think there should be no leniency against habitual drunk drivers.
