Somalia is a prime example of everyones "why should the USA police the world" - we should have stayed there. we should have wiped all those fucked up warlords off the face of the earth. and the international community should have been there helping as well. what was the fucking point of sending food and medicine for all those years to help a starving population only to watch armed bandits gun everyone down and take it all for themselves. then we have one botched military operation and we pull out and this country is just a sorry shit hole, knowing nothing but death, famine, war and disease. no one wants to do anything about it... then when someone tries, they are labeled assholes for it.
