His foundation is also funding a ton of research into drugs and medicines. I saw an interview with him on Charlie Rose and was pretty impressed with the work he is doing.

They dominate. Bottom line. In the home PC, in the SMB market, and in the enterprise. I used to be a Unix sys admin. Figured who wouldnt use Unix. Now I do consulting. No one uses it. Microsoft is everywhere. Right now they are pushing virtualization heavy.
