Not everyone will save - end of story. Even if they have the same record, experience driving, and type of car that you have.

I personally got many quotes for insurance and I get new quotes every few months when I am overhauling the household budget. My driving record is spotless, no tickets, nadda. Also over 35 years of age (37), have had license since 16. I do not live in a major city. Have a few vehicles from 1 year old to a couple that are over 49 years old. Not only multi policy, also a home owner, etc. (lots of discounts)

Geiko is more expensive for me. I actually get the best rate through progressive along with more insurance. I do not deal with the corner store insurance places anymore and have not for a long time, yet has still gotten a quote every so often. They typically just place you with whomever they sell policies for anyways, and very often their insurance is very lacking in what it covers. Honestly to many are worried about price first and not what the policies actually cover, rarely are they created equal.

Now if you want a surefire way to tell people how they can save more money on their insurance at least in the US. Just tell people to raise their deductibles. I really think having a deductible less than 1,500.00 is silly and higher is even better. I rarely see accidents or whatnot that cause less than that in damages anyways unless it is super damn minor. Yet so damn many people carry 500.00 deductibles.
