Only right wing idiots believe that.
They hate us because our foreign policy supports the brutal dictators that oppress them. We support those dictators because we need their oil.
They hate us because alot of them have lost family members as "collateral damage" in U.S. bombings and missile strikes over the years.
They hate us because the only schools where they grew up were Mosques that taught them to hate the west, that we were the enemy of Allah and deserved to be punished.
The don't hate us for our freedom or our way of life. Only right wing idiots who puff out their chests with nationalistic pride and are unwilling to admit their country ever made a mistake think that.
