Pretty sure I'll get flamed for this but hell, here it goes.
If a power vacuum happens hopefully the remainder will kill each other. Personally I think they should have government subsidized marksman training so less of them get injured and more are just killed. A gangster is nothing more than a little boy who needed to be in a club to feel like a man. A real man stands on his own two feet, takes care of his friends and family and doesn't need to have an army behind him in order to stand up for himself. Period. If someone disputes that and you might as well hand in your ballz to the local authorities, as you have no need for them.
Like a previous poster said, you can tell the cops to fuck of if they are being dicks. Try that with a gang member who is drunk and wants to hit on your wife, thought you looked at him funny, or is drunk and wants anything that isn't his ... lol. You'll get beat down, probably while surrounded by his buddies.
I know there are nice gangsters and they own legit businesses, and keep certain crimes down in certain area. All so they can do what they please in other areas. Is this supposed to make people forgive the murders and drugs (which should be punishable by death IMO), and disappearances and extortion and intimidation? If they were really just "Clubs" who took care of their own and didn't kill, and make money selling drugs to junkies, and intimidating anyone who disrupts their business then no one would have an issue. But that is not the case. Even if they are
gentlemen killers and gangsters. I understand the feeling of wanting things under control which admittedly some gangsters do, but we need to stop the glamourization of this shit and call it what it really is.
