but yes it would be impossible to travel that far in a lifetime.. the answer would be black holes / wrinkles in time.. bending time and space, etc.
Einstein already proved that space does have bends and variances.
I do agree about some of the accomplishments you spoke of as well, in ancient times. But those are NOTHING compared to the technological advances we have made in just the past 100 years.
