That movie is such a bummer but it's so important to realize what horrible things people can do to each other.
Movies like this are so important because after all of the Holocaust survivors die (a.k.a. very very soon) this is all we'll be left with-media, videos, museums and books.
It troubles me so much when young people don't know who Anne Frank was or don't seem to realize that the holocaust wasn't so long ago.
These movies make it real for a few hours for us, so at least we can have some idea (albeit very small) of what horrors these people went through in their fight for survival in a Nazi death camp.
I don't like watching these movies but I feel as though we have somewhat of a responsibility to acknowledge the past and what happened through such means.....
