here's something funny. a few months ago i was a show on the Discovery about a family that does demolition work and they were setting up the explosives when they discovered a huge support beam. they were trying to figure out how to set the explosive so it would cut it to prevent it from becoming a cantilever.

as they were measuring it one of the guys said "i haven't seen a beam like this since the twin towers". at first i didn't think anything of it but after i started thinking about i wondered how he would know the twin towers have supports like that.

maybe it was a coincidence or maybe they just studied the building drawings but i thought it was strange.
