Purchasing Guns in the US can be a political statement. When you buy a gun in America a document is sent to the Federal government. This could send a clear message you're not happy with whatever. All politician follow gun sales data.  |
It's also possible Americans are buying guns because they are tired of all the bullshit that politicians send their way and how they favor big guys (banks, insurance companies, oil companies and other large industry) yet they forgot to bailout the small guy who needs help as well.
Maybe some Americans figured that the way to stop these same politicians from lieing to them anymore is by killing the motherfuckers and starting fresh with new faces, ideas and policies.
