Yes, I support gay marriage.
I don't see how the "nuclear" or natural family being departed from will hurt anything in America's values. So many people who are 45+ can tell you stories of seeing their fathers/mothers abuse one another... and then stay together, stay married. If only divorce or departure would've been a norm for families a long time ago.. I don't think you'd see the popping up psychological disorders in the baby boomer age group like you do.
In other cultures where marriage is sacred... you almost always have the female being ultimately submissive to the male... The birth of women's lib... and the evolution of women no longer wanting to be stuck in roles where they're not happy.. I believe has turned the world into a more evolved, happier place.
I think that any time you're allowing a culture to seek out happiness in the heart.. that the culture becomes more evolved and advanced. More happy peopple = happier culture.
I see absolutely ZERO reason as to why gay couples can't marry or adopt. I see zero issues with it..
