If religious institutions don't want to define marriage to include gay people, there should and will be a constitutional amendment one day as each state keeps losing the battle.......that will define marriage to include two people regardless of gender. It may be a civil ceremony; but, it will be marriage recognised by the IRS and the legislative bodies. And, this is as it should be.

I have never met a gay man who 'chose' to be gay. Knowing you are and choosing it are different. With everything I've learned, I believe that gender identification is biology with possibly an environmental trigger.....we are born straight or gay. sure, we can sublimate whatever we are born as because societal demands and religious expectations might force us to lean that way. All things considered, we are born to be attracted to whom we are attracted.

Whether or not we approve or disapprove, truly it is none of our business. And, there is no reason to believe that gay men and women will do a better or worse job of raising a child than straight people. I say give them a chance to fuck up kids, just like straight people have been doing it for thousands of years. now, THAT'S equal opportunity.

in all reality, studies have shown that kids raised by those who are physically, mentally handicapped or different as in gay, grow up far more empathetic, compassionate, and aware than those who are raised in narrow minded, angry, fearful homes.

Joy to the world, as far as I'm concerned. Besides, it is good for the economy. Let gays marry. Have ceremonies. It's a whole cottage industry worth billions.

Gay couples are great for the porn industry, just as straight couples are, just as gay singles and straight singles are.

If we would mind our own business and just let everyone be, within reason, we could all have great lives.
