So I'm searching for something in Google, first link appears to be what I'm looking for so I click it (the URL didn't even list a .pdf file it is .html?something), then the Adobe reader bullshit opens. I am always skeptical when this happens so I immediately hit ctrl+alt+del. By that time the reader had still not opened yet so red flags are going off in my head and then I suddenly see like 3-4 instances of C:\WINDOWS\system32\jake.exe running! Along with a few other suspicious things.
This thing created a virus with the filename as my computer username

, and I couldn't close them. I load up msconfig real quick and uncheck all the shit this thing has just placed into the startup menu. Of course it's impossible to keep them unchecked so I just restart my computer and goto safe mode. Safe mode starts booting and it stops saying I'm missing "hal.dll".

Eventually I get safe mode to work thank god and open spybot s&d which then removes a bunch of trojans and downloaders that got installed. Run hijackthis afterwards and it doesn't see anything bads (thanks to spybot).
Now I'm going to completely uninstall this Adobe shit, I can't stand PDF documents in the first place, they're such a pain in the ass to deal with it's not even fucking funny.
