It was clearly a mistake to wear those while handing out food to the poor. However, I bet she didn't even know how much those cost, they were probably given to her.
It makes me wonder how these supposed smart and educated people make such stupid choices. Not that she doesn't have the right the wear any shoes you want, but doesn't an alarm go off when you think about going to a soup kitchen?
