That being in porn does, indeed, often have life long consequences. This is fact.
As much as I know both sides will usher in their propaganda for pro-porn or anti-porn, the fact remains that people who get into this business are usually not very educated on how the adult industry works and the lifestyle that comes along with being in adult.

I don't think anyone should be taking too much responsibility for the choices other people make. If you are an adult you make your choices, and you either learn from them or you don't. It would be nice if we are given information on the pitfalls of every choice we make in life, but that's not realistic.
When I was still running strip clubs I had new girls that just turned 18 coming in every day looking to start a career in stripping. Some of them couldn't adjust to the lifestyle and the easy money and were strung out on drugs within 6 months. Others would put their money away and drove nice cars, had nice houses and property, and raised families on the money they made. I tried to steer them in the right direction when I could, but for the most part they were adults and were responsible for their own lives, and as long as it didn't affect me and my business who am I to tell them how to live their lives, or to warn them of the "evils' of the business they were getting into?
