I never got the balloon sex niche very well until I read Deviant Desires on the subject. It's online somewhere, forget the url off the top of my head.
Some get off on the smell of a fresh bag of balloons, some on the anticipation of popping, some on the popping. Some hate if they pop though. There's also that squeee-ing noise you can make with the valve all stretched flat. Whatever works I guess.
