I have to say this whole thread was a good read. I grew up with hacker friends and know one right now very well. I have seen them do shit that impressed the shit out of me. But the really good ones break in, look around and cause no harm or damage. They have morals and a sense of right and wrong. They break in because people say they cant. The can get in and out without people ever knowing they were ever there. The challenge "You cant break into my system" is there motivation.
Shap, i dont know you but for the what it is worth, I believed this was a real situation from the get go and you played it very well. Kudos to you and your team and lets hope its over.
