As long is this is something that you have thought about, has meaning to you and you have done your research on reputable artist checking out their books and work go for it.

Before I ask I want you to know that the reason I'm asking is I genuinely want to understand.
Why do you have to permanently mark your body with a tattoo for something to have a special meaning? Is it done as a reminder or does the permanence make it more of a commitment. For me it's hard to understand because all of that I can do in my head without having to get a permanent post-it note
