One of my pet peeves is the incorrect use of the word bigot....
One that dislikes gays is not a bigot, might not even be a homophobe, since "phobe" means fear.
Dislike of someone because of race makes one a racist.
To be a bigot one needs to dislike somone because of religion.
They are not interchangable.
