The new medium for gossip is the internet, not gossip rags. Why would anyone want to look at photos in U.S news when you can check out candid pics online in such EXTREME high resolution where you can even see the PORES of a celeb... Pictures on-line are so much more detailed... There were photos where I was able to see dirt on Lindsay Lohan's nail and one where she had something stuck in her teeth. You cannot get that in a magazine.
Paris' Twitter is better than rag mazines because it's free and it's interactive. People have the ability to receive the updates from the source herself. It's like web gossip 2.0. It's more interactive, you get instant gratification.
